Name: Jordan

Title: Co-Captain & Social Media Director

Hi! My name is Jordan, I'm a 20 year old, full-time college student, currently planning to study Business, and the Spanish language. Just some facts about me: I love all things Disney (Beauty and the Beast is my favorite) and I bowl competitively! Anyways, at the moment, I'm just trying to find my way through this crazy life with the help of my amazing family, friends, and God. Years ago, we had this vision: how could we change worship and make it fun and inclusive for everyone? And here we are. I have loved being a leader in this team, and continue to strive to help make us the best we can be in every aspect of our work. My goal as a co-captain is to reach out to those who need to hear our ministry the most, and to help our team succeed. I love all of our work, however, my favorite song that we perform would have to be "The River!"

My name is Alexis, I am 18 years old and I just graduated high school. I plan on attending NRCC and then transferring to either Wytheville or Jefferson and going into the physical therapy program! I have been going to church since I was a baby- specifically this church [EVPHC]. Our drama team has gotten us very far with ministering. I've figured out that as teens, (or adults, kids, whatever!) we can preach through dance and drama. We can help the younger generations learn about Christianity and let them see how you can praise and worship with dance! I know our team has gotten out to so many people, and my goal as co-captain is to reach out more and travel to spread God's word! I know as I grow older, I won't always be here to look after our team. I have full faith in our team continuing as they grow older- I would love for other churches to experiment and let their young kids and teens venture out and show the many ways you can praise Jesus!

Hey, my name is Christian, and I'm the choreographer for our drama team, Until the Whole World Hears. I joined the team because I love to dance, and it is so amazing to be able to do just that while having fun and praising the Lord!

Hey guys, my name is Danielle, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently a senior in high school. After I am done with high school I want to go to college to become a nurse. The reason I decided to join the drama team is because I have always done some type of sign language/drama at my old church and one day me and some others were talking about how we wanted to be more involved in worship and how we could change it to become more fun and have a way that everyone could get into it so we started out by signing all of the songs then we started doing sign language and drama. Now we mainly do drama to the songs! It's hard to pick a favorite song that we do because I enjoy them all, but if I had to choose one it would be "Chain Breaker" because like it says "If you have chains, he's a chain breaker," God will take any and all of your hardships and burdens off of your shoulders no matter what.

Hi my name is Tristan. I am 12, I like to go hunting, fishing, and playing baseball. I plan on playing baseball after graduating high school. I joined the drama team because I like to express the way I feel about Jesus through dancing. My favorite drama song is "Jesus Lean!"

My name is Chloeye. I am currently a student in Middle School and I sing on the Praise and Worship team at Ellett Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church. I joined our drama team so I could be more interactive with my friends at church and also to learn something new! I like the drama team because I get to express myself through drama and dancing. The drama team has been a fun experience for me and I am so glad I joined!

My name is Abi Earles and I have been on the drama team for about 4 years now. All I can say is that it has changed my life. Not just performing, or the songs, but the people in it. I first joined because I thought it would be fun, but now... I realized I joined because I wanted to be closer to God. I have become closer to him and the drama team. They are my family now. I love performing and showing people not to be afraid to perform, and also showing people that you shouldn't be afraid to show that you love God. I am so proud of what the Drama Team has become and who I have become because of this team and because of following God. I can honestly say I wouldn't be so close to God if it wasn't for the Drama Team.

Hey, it's Joseph! I'm in 9th grade, hoping to become a chef after school as I have already signed up for Culinary arts. In my free time, I like hanging out with my friends. I joined the drama team because I wanted to raise people's spirits through the dramas we perform! I love to dance for the drama team and I love to perform with the other members. My absolute favorite drama is "The River" by Jordan Feliz, but my favorite drama that I regularly participate in is "Until the Whole World Hears" by Casting Crowns!

Hey, my name is Hannah! Most of the time, I'm a goofball, but I love being in the drama team to watch the team perform and to work the music for them! I also really enjoy working for the Lord. I joined the drama team in the first place because I love being with my friends and helping out, and there's no better way to help than to worship the Lord with music! My favorite drama is "Jesus Lean" because it has a great beat and I love it!

Hi, my name is Noah, and my goal for the future is to become a professional basketball player! I joined the Drama Team to show everyone that church can be fun in different ways, even while teaching others about God!

Name: CJ

Hey, I'm CJ! What I want to do after school is probably become a pilot and an NBA player. I joined the Drama Team to show how much I love God, and to spread the word of God to everyone that we encounter. My favorite drama would have to be "Jesus Jump," because it allows you to let out all of the energy inside of you while also praising God!

The Drama Team is always looking for new members! If you attend EVPHC and you (and/or your child(ren)) are interested in becoming a part of the team, please contact Jordan or Barbara before or after church, through this page, or through our Facebook page. We would love to have you join this crazy, fun family of God-loving teens and kids! Practice schedules are flexible, and we can find a part for anyone wishing to be involved in songs! Don't be afraid to try something new!

Around four years ago, our teens at church had a vision: how can we make worship more exciting and engaging for everyone, young and old? The answer was obvious: bringing more life to our normally tame congregation! What started as a group of five standing around doing sign language to songs quickly turned into a group of ten Jesus-loving teens that constantly strive to do their best and show the love of God to the world through their interprative dramas to popular Christian contemporary songs. Together, our team has become what they are today, each one set on a path for success: both personally and professionally as they allow God to lead them in the direction they feel pulled. These teens are more than just friends, they're teammates, brothers and sisters in Christ- and family.
